ABOUT FASHION FIELD MAGAZINE

At Fashion Field Magazine, we believe that great fashion has no boundaries. We exist to celebrate regional designers, amplify diverse voices, and redefine what modern luxury means in Australia.

From exclusive designer interviews to sustainability spotlights and runway insights, every issue is crafted with care, curiosity, and a commitment to conscious style. We're more than a magazine—we're a community. A platform. A celebration of the bold, the beautiful, and the unapologetically creative.

Welcome to Fashion Field. Welcome to the conversation.

Julz McBain

Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Julz McBain is a fashion entrepreneur, creative visionary, and the driving force behind Fashion Field Magazine. With a degree in Fashion Marketing and a deep passion for elevating regional fashion voices, Julz founded Fashion Field as a platform to celebrate the beauty, innovation, and resilience of Australia's style community—from the city streets to the country runway.

As Editor-in-Chief, Julz curates a blend of high-fashion storytelling and heartfelt regional perspective. Her work bridges the gap between luxury and locality, shining a spotlight on designers, creators, and brands that deserve to be seen and heard.

Also the founder of the Toowoomba Fashion Festival and a multi-award-nominated businesswoman, Julz is known for her commitment to inclusivity, community, and the belief that great fashion has no postcode. Her vision is bold yet grounded—to redefine what regional fashion can be and inspire the next generation of creatives to see possibility everywhere.

When she's not behind the scenes of a runway or magazine shoot, Julz is a mum of two and spends much of her time with her big, blended family alongside her fiancé, Renee.
