What began as a spark in early 2024 has now evolved into a vibrant community of creatives, returning with heels in hand and dreams on the runway. One week it’s pushing 40 degrees, the next we’re digging out the winter woolies—Australia’s climate is shifting fast, and we’re all feeling it. While solar panels and electric vehicles get a lot of the spotlight, there’s another culprit in the climate conversation that often gets overlooked: fashion. Fast fashion, in particular, plays a major role in carbon emissions, resource depletion, and textile waste. The good news? Every one of us wears clothes—and that means every one of us has the power to make more conscious, climate-friendly choices.
